Birch Cove Natural Stone Drop Earrings

These Birch Cove earrings were created by Andrea Balint, a Canadian artisan originally from Ontario who now calls New Brunswick home.

Andrea’s journey to jewellery making began during one of the most challenging chapters of her life. While undergoing cancer treatment, she discovered creating as a form of quiet healing. What started as a way to steady her mind and find moments of calm, slowly became a meaningful creative practice that carried her through uncertainty. During this time, Andrea held tightly to what mattered most - her family, her resilience and her hope for a slower, more peaceful way of living.

Today, she is in remission and continues to create from a place shaped by both strength and softness. Each piece she makes carries that story forward, grounded in nature, care and intention.

In honour of her journey, a portion of proceeds from these earrings will be donated to breast cancer support, helping others receive care, strength and hope through their own experiences.
